Grey Whiskers is specifically designed to assist senior cats in our program. Senior cats are often overlooked and not considered highly adoptable. Seniors are often surrendered to our municipal shelters due to medical issues, the need for vet care or are found abandoned. The purpose of Grey Whiskers is to bring these cats back to health by providing them the veterinary care they need and giving them time to get healthy.
The goal is to show the community through education, proper care these cats have so much to give! No one appreciates the comfort of a stable, loving home like a senior cat. These cats often make the best pets! They are gentle, loving and even like to play once they truly feel well.
Through the Grey Whiskers program we bring these precious souls back to health, making them an affordable adoption for people from all walks of life and income levels as their major medical has been resolved. We have found that even though some may require a prescription diet or affordable medication we find the most amazing homes for them.
We also meet some incredible human beings in the process!

Raven needed to be on daily meds to keep her comfortable & a kidney diet, it didn’t stop her from stealing her moms heart! Raven was adopted & is doing fantastic. Ravens favorite past time is sun bathing & snuggles! Her mom completely adores her & her care is worth every moment she has with her!
Most of our senior friends come to us needing veterinary care in the form of bloodwork, dentals, kidney care & hyperthyroid treatment. With proper care these sweet friends get a second chance. We need your help providing them the very best chance to feel wonderful and have some more time in a home, being loved and always a Grey Whiskers cat <3
